Michael Polidoro joined Suffolk Orthopedic Associates in 2006. He is a graduate from the SUNY Stony Brook Physician Assistant program class of 2002. 

  Prior to becoming a PA, Michael earned a bachelor’s and Master Degrees in Exercise and Sports Sciences with concentrations in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine from the William Paterson University in NJ and University of Florida respectively. He worked as an Athletic Trainer working with Division I athletes for Hofstra University as well as many high school athletes in New Jersey and Florida. He has extensive knowledge of the hand and upper extremity as well as rehabilitation of sports related injuries. Michael assists with various surgical procedures including rotator cuff and ACL reconstruction. 

  Michael lives locally in East Islip and enjoys spending time with his wife and kids vacationing and staying busy around home.
